Paul Lake Joins EGG Charity as Patron

We’re excited to share that Paul Lake, former Manchester City footballer and respected community advocate, has officially joined EGG Charity as our newest Patron!

Paul’s involvement marks a powerful step forward in our journey to support people experiencing homelessness into housing, employment, and long-term stability. His public voice and deep connection to Greater Manchester will help us raise awareness, build partnerships, and reach more people in need.

We’re honoured to welcome Paul to the EGG family and incredibly grateful for his belief in our mission. Together, we’re working toward a future where no one is left without a place to call home.

I’m hugely impressed with the work that the charity is doing to combat homelessness and to enable individuals to rebuild their lives. The organisation is generating so many success stories. However, there is still much more work to be done and I’ll do my utmost to help raise awareness.”
